I have waited 2 years to read this book. I just kept putting it off. It always seemed like a very intriguing story so I had high hopes.
This story is about a woman named Hannah and her stepdaughter, Bailey, and their journey on finding her husband. He randomly disappeared one day and only left her a note saying two words: “Protect her”. This seemed like a gripping story at first but I found myself getting bored. There is a good subplot on family relationships, but not enough to pull it all together.
I will say, it was interesting at times so that is why I did not give it a lower rating, but I just found myself waiting for it to be over. Let me know if you have read this book & what you thought about it!
