Hot take: box dye isn’t bad 🤷🏻‍♀️

BEFORE ANYONE COMES FOR ME!! I am very well aware on how hard it is to lighten from here. I understand that if I ever want to go back blonde it may take months, even years to achieve that. Thank you.

ANYWAYS. I’m obsessed is all I can say. I’m almost never disappointed with my hair color and the longevity of the color. I’ve gotten my hair colored black before by a stylist maybe 3-4 times. It faded super fast, or it wasn’t as black as I wanted. I do use shampoo for color treated hair, use very minimal heat, and wash my hair ever 2-3 days. So it’s not like I didn’t try to keep up with it. I just never got the results I wanted. Plus for the money I paid, I would like my hair to be black.

Box dye is also a decent option when you’re low on money. I personally couldn’t afford to get my hair done before some big events coming up. But I can spare 7$ so I did. I’m not hairdresser, but honestly do what you want with your hair. A lot of people dog on box dye, and i understand why, but also not everyone has a lot of options. I also believe that people deserve to pamper themselves, if box dye can achieve that. Go for it!
