How to Do Dip Powder Nails At Home

HOW TO DO DIP POWDER NAILS AT HOME:

Over the years I have perfected how I do my own nails at home!

That’s right, I do my own dip powder nails at home.

They last me weeks, I don’t have to pay $50-60 every single month, the supplies last so long, and I absolutely love how they turn out every single time!

HOW TO DO YOUR OWN DIP POWDER NAILS👇🏼:

Step One: Grab your base liquid.

Step Two: Grab your clear dip powder.

Step Three: Paint your nail with the base liquid (only do one nail at a time, not all at once).

Step Four: Dip the nail that was just painted into the clear dip powder at a 45° angle.

Step Five: Once your entire hand is complete and dry, brush off the excess powder on each nail.

Step Six: Grab your color dip powder.

Step Seven: Paint your nail with the base liquid again (one nail at a time, not all at once).

Step Eight: Dip your nail with the base liquid into the color dip powder at a 45° angle. Once your hand is complete and dry, brush off the excess powder on each nail.

Repeat Steps 7 & 8 two more times resulting in 3 layers of color dip powder.

Step Nine: Grab your solidify (aka activator) and paint each nail all at once to harden the powder.

Step Ten: After letting the activator dry, buff, file, and shape each nail.

Step Eleven: Grab your activator again.

Step Twelve: Apply the activator to each nail one more time, all at once.

Step Thirteen: Grab your glossy coat (aka top coat).

Step Fourteen: Let the activator dry for 30 seconds then immediately apply the top coat on each nail, all at once. Once you’ve finished applying one layer of top coat, go immediately in with a second layer of top coat, allowing no time to lapse between layers.

Let air dry for 2 minutes.
