Traveling to Joshua Tree? You Must Eat Here!

My boyfriend and I recently took a trip to Joshua Tree for a little weekend getaway. Food is a really important aspect for me to enjoy my travels because I want to be experiencing the city/area in all ways possible! Also food is a big love language shared between me and my boyfriend, a HUGE plus! That being said, whenever we travel I always do a deep research on places for us to eat at. Joshua Tree is very unique. Since it is a desert there were not a whole lot of choices that are nice for a "date night" until I stumbled upon Kitchen in the Desert.

Kitchen in the Desert is located in TwentyNine Palms. It was a straight shot 20 minute drive from our AirBnb! The restaurant is seriously makes you feel like you are truly living the desert lifestyle but in a romantic movie. There is also a bar/lounge that looked really fun to go into after you finish your dinner!

The food was PHENOMENAL. My boyfriend and I still talk about this meal all the time. One thing I loved about this meal was that the ingredients were so fresh. The menu changes frequently based on season/farm availability but that gave the menu a special charm in my eyes. It makes me want to go back and try all the new menu items ASAP!

We got a curry coconut chicken, chimichurri steak, tahini vegetables, and fried Oreos and my oh my it was the best tasting dinner ever! we ate every last bite!

I rate this restaurant 5/5! If you want to visit this restaurants the next time you are in Joshua Tree, definitely make a reservation since it is one of the best restaurants there!
