My First Zine!

This is my first zine! I went to a zine workshop at my local library and it was so much fun! I’ve been wanting to make zines forever now, but was always too nervous to pic a theme! They were super helpful and I was able to come up with this

This piece has creatures that are native to texas, like me, so the concept is that we both deserve to be here! As someone who’s a liberal from a small town, I don’t always feel like I’m allowed to have a right to my life experience growing up in rural tx, but I can’t relate to urban southerners either bc we didn’t grow up the same. I belong here yet no where. But like endangered species being kicked out of their homes, I deserve to be here too if I so want.
