Throughout my time in fitness, I've made many mistakes and it took me a while to figure out what I was doing wrong or how I could reach my goals faster.. here are 3 mistakes I've made in my fitness journey and mistakes that are very common in the fitness space..

1) Eating clean throughout the week but then going crazy on the weekends. If you eat whole, nutritious foods on the weekday, hit your water intake, workout, etc. you will still struggle to make good results if you are completely throwing that out on the weekends with late nights, drinking sugary alcoholic drinks, late night Taco Bell/pizza. Practice being more intentional and mindful on the weekends or when you are out and about.

2) You aren't being patient. You want results overnight and when you don't see change, you don't think it is working and you give up. You need to remember that it is not going to happen overnight. Results come from working hard, being consistent, and remaining patient.

3) You aren't following a plan. Everyday you go to the gym you are trying a new workout you saw on instagram or tiktok. If you want to see real results you need to stick to a plan and continue to work on the same exercises week after week.
