These are things Iāve struggle with before, and when I talk to other individuals who are struggling to reach their goals, these are a few things they also struggle with.
š„© not prioritizing your protein! Protein plays a huge part in helping you not only build muscle but also lose body fat! Make sure you are aiming to eat a source of protein with every meal!
šāāļø doing too much cardio! Cardio is a great tool for your cardiovascular health and to get extra movement in, however, you should not be spending endless hours on cardio equipment.. also, just because you ate a cupcake the night before, doesnāt mean you should do extra time to burn those calories off, thatās not how it works!
šļøāāļø skipping your weight lifting! Strength training is a huge tool in helping you to lose body fat! Adding a weight training program to your daily routine will help torch calories while also building muscle.
šŖ cutting out your favorite foods! If you donāt allow yourself one, you wonāt be able to just have one! Remember, everything in moderation is fine. Allow yourself to enjoy your favorite foods, just be mindful when you do!
āļø comparing your journey to others! Stop comparing yourself or your workouts to those around you. Everyone has different goals, everyone started at different times. You are not them and they are not you. Focus on your journey.
