My Favorite Races

These three races have left indelible marks on my running journey, each offering a unique blend of challenges, natural beauty, and festive spirit.

First up is the Zion 50k Ultramarathon (Hurricane, UT), an epic endurance test through the breathtaking terrain of adjacent to Zion National Park. Scaling rugged cliffs, traversing narrow canyons, and conquering steep ascents, this race tested my limits while rewarding me with jaw-dropping vistas that left me in awe of Mother Nature's grandeur.

Next, the Holly Jolly Half Marathon (Camarillo, CA) brought a touch of holiday magic to my running calendar. With runners donning Santa hats and jingling bells, the course was transformed into a festive wonderland. Running through streets adorned with twinkling lights and cheered on by spectators in reindeer antlers, it was impossible not to be swept up in the holiday spirit as I crossed the finish line.

Lastly, the Saguaro Half Marathon (Tuscon, AZ) immersed me in the unique beauty of the Arizona desert. The iconic saguaro cacti lined the route, casting long shadows as I pushed through the arid landscape, their silent presence a testament to endurance and resilience.
