🇻🇳| Danang Diaries: Fun night at Memories Land

Time's ticking, it's 5:30 PM, and we've got a few hours left on our Hoi An adventure! I'm torn between two incredible experiences: hopping on a lantern boat ride or catching the Memories Show?

TBH, I had my doubts initially. I thought it might be one of those touristy thing that’s probably not worth it. But as you can tell from my photos, I had a blast at Memories Land, and let me tell you, it was 200% worth my ticket!👻

Here are 5 reasons why I skipped the lantern ride and fell head over heels for this experience —

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲

The ticket includes access to the Impression Park, a place that's like a snapshot of traditional Hoi A life from 4 centuries ago. Think lanterns, old bridges, water lilies, charming pink pagoda, colourful murals, and cute souvenirs to bring back. It’s like stepping back on time plus some shopping!

𝗙𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗱𝘀

Loaded my eyes with lovely lightings and IG spots for creative shots! The best part? Not too many people around! It felt like I had the whole place to myself. Unlike the busy lantern rides, this place was serene and perfect for exploring!

𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱

There are plenty of stalls offering delicious dinner and snacks along the way, so you won’t be hungry! While the restaurants might be a tad pricey, the snacks and drinks were not bad! We found some good pancakes and kebabs in the central area.

𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝘀

The action starts at 5:00 PM with mini shows to kickstart the fun featuring both modern and traditional dancing in different places of the park. They're cool, but I wouldn't call them a must-see.

𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄

At 8:00 PM, the main event begins. It's pitch dark, and you're in a stadium-like setting. All the lights go out, the music starts, and what unfolds was one of the most beautiful and unexpected shows I've ever seen!

I'm a big fan for combination of lights, darkness, music, and water, and this show delivered it all! The organization and professionalism of the entire show were top-notch. Without a doubt, this single show was the highlight of my Hoi An trip! ✨

𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀

- Getting there is easy just book a Grab from anywhere in Hoi An to KÝ ỨC HỘI AN - Hoi An Memories show

- Book direct entry ticket online via Klook or KKday ($28)

- The ECO seats are good enough

- Stadium B is my personal preference (closer to the boat)

- Aim for higher seats for a panoramic view

- Ticket can be used on any date before expiry date so don’t need to use it the day you purchase for

- Be prepared for an open-area setting; bring rain gear

- They have a shuttle bus back to Danang, watch out for Grab surcharges after the show.
