How I Survived My 1st Month of Nursing School

Chileeeeee I am sleeep DEPRIVED! I am sooo proud of myself for making it through my first month of accelerated nursing school! Some milestones: I got an 85 on my first exam! 🥹 I learned how to take vitals and flush out IVs. I got 5/5 for my H2T assessment.

Something’s I did that helped me manage my stress levels and stay afloat:

1. Listen to recorded lectures during my commute to campus and home

2. Meal prep for the week

3. Printed out lecture slides and reviewed objectives before class

4. Daily Naps

5. Take 10-15 minute study breaks for every 1hr I studied

6. Use CHAT GBT to break down and simplify difficult concepts and lecture ppts =Work smarter not harder

7. Write out all of my assignments and due dates each week. I made little check boxes for each assignment. I’m a list girly and I love checking things off!
