Crohn’s is HARD. Having an invisible illness of any kind is hard. You get told awful things by many people because you don’t “look sick”. Even my own mother said she “knew people with Crohn’s & I must be exaggerating because they were fine”. Like I was faking pain. Chronic illness is different for everyone & it was so degrading.
