Tattoo I got for my cat

This is my cat Crouton. We got him my freshman year of high school. He yelled at us until we adopted him and it’s safe to say he adopted us.

He was a big fat lazy cat. But he was the most loving guy ever. Everyone that met him fell in love with him. Even people that hated cats only liked one cat, Crouton.

He was 25 pounds, had a heart murmur, a chipped fang, and a crooked tip of his tail. As he got older he had a hematoma in his ear. But he was always happy and cuddly. It felt like he was a human trapped in a cats body. I’ve never met another cat like him. He was a special one.

Crouton passed naturally when he was 14 years old. The day he passed was my sisters 21st birthday. It was bittersweet for all of us, but devastating losing him.

I got his marking on the top of his head tattooed on my bicep, so he’s always there with me. He is my strength. I miss him terribly, but I know he’s with my grandma and they’re taking care of each other
