Is a dog worth it?

This is my dog Buddy! I love him very much but when I moved he stayed with my sister and my mom. I want a dog so bad but I live in an apartment and would have to pay a monthly fee for a dog, extra expenses, time commitment. I already struggle financially and I don’t want another reason I struggle.

In the upside I truly feel like having a dog would make me take care of myself more. When I feed the dog it will remind me to feed myself. And taking the dog out and we can go in walks forcing me to go out side more.

The other down side is they are expensive just to get. I want to adopt but because of my allergies I would need specific breeds so I can be okay.
