Terminate serta-merta. Kena buat apa? 😭

Hi Lemon8! You pernah kena layoff kerja? For those yg tak tahu, layoff ni bermaksud kena terminate kerja serta-merta secara short notice akibat daripada performance company yg merosot. Tak dpt bayar pekerja, mostly dorg akan cut off the cost dgn kurangkan pekerja.

I tak pernah kena layoff (doa minta dijauhkan) namun ada juga certain my circle of friends yg kena. Walaupun based on experience org, I slowly prepare for the worst juga incase terjadi.

But first things first, kira commitment dahulu dan buat simpanan untuk cover beberapa bulan incase kena layoff. I pernah buat post untuk emergency fund (boleh click dkt situ untuk tahu).

Tapi untuk layoff ni, ada certain things I tengah buat slowly. I masih lagi dlm proses untuk buat simpanan 3-6 bulan mengikut gaji. It was hard but at least ada progress. Then I masih lagi buat side income dgn content creation untuk bookish niche.

Yg masih belum progress is belajar new skills (out of my comfort). I masih belum start untuk belajar skills yg luar daripada bidang kerja I. Ini untuk long-term planning in case skill yg I ada tidak relevant. Kita prepare je 😆🙌🏼

Dan untuk compensation, depends on the company juga. Ada yg kasi compensation dkt kita satu bulan gaji sahaja. Yang penting, jangan lupa minta 🥵
