My First Film Short 🎥🌾

My first short was presented this past Monday, and boy was it a doozy! A fellow student and I were supposed to film one mundane activity (such as washing your face) regularly and with a genre. I decided to do a western because I thought it would be a fun challenge!

I went out to a nearby marsh and filmed myself for about 4-5 hours washing my face repeatedly. I used plain ol' water from the tap in tupperware, and cleaned out a cigar case to put a green lotion from LUSH to mimic sludge (hopefully fooling people that I used materials from the pond). Since the forecast called for rain, I also brought a raincoat to cover the big tripod and camera, and plastic bags to wrap around the legs so they didn't get wet.

Unfortunately, the other student never showed up so I had to do everything myself, but I think I pulled it off! The video's too long for here, but it's on my Instagram (@LynellMarie) if you want to check it out!
