climbing fansipan 🗻

gotta say it wasn't an easy hike but we were blessed with good weather. There was 3 routes: easy, medium, hard and we went with easy because we didn't want an overnight hike

even then, we took 11hrs just to get up to the summit. It was raining the night before hence the rocks were wet and muddy. even at pickup it was still drizzling but thankfully when we were starting the hike, the rain had stopped.

otw up it was quite foggy because we are up in the mountains right but getting up the view was worth it. even locals said we were blessed to have seen the sunset and some views at least. most that I hear of is always foggy at the top when they take the cable car. I guess we were rewarded for the hike and even got medals and a cert at the summit

since it was getting late, we took the cable car down (last cable car was at 6pm, we took at 5+) but it was the same price as the round trip. it was our only option I guess, even then gg up to the summit we took the funicular because the legs were giving way. Kept cramping otw up, I think I pulled a muscle and kept spamming sports drink and banana to get to the top

nevertheless another mountaintop down but hardest one thus far, I did hallasan before this and it was way better paved. this had ladders and rock climbing to a certain extent
