where to study in SG?🙇‍♀️📖

im someone who CANNOT study at home coz theres so many distractions (ive a dog and like 2 siblings) so i always need to go outside to get work done! i explored many different places to study at and these are my comments on each spot!

Starbucks (a hot favourite)

✅ plug

✅ wifi

✅ clean table

✅ coffee

❌ some outlets chase u out

❌ expensive in the long run

- not for everyone coz it can be quite noisy and the lights can make u sleepy (as mentioned by some of my friends)

National Library

✅ some places have plugs

✅ wifi

✅ clean tables

❌ no food and drinks

❌ each slot per day is only 4hrs

- need to book slot in advance

❌ cannot nap

i wld book a slot at National Library to study if im not planning to memorize content or i dont have to study for v long hours!

its also REALLY quiet and idrl it HAHHAA ANDAND the staff wont allow u to put ur head on the table to nap which is a major - point to me coz i need power naps when im studying

Macdonald

✅ food and drinks

✅ wifi

❌ no plug

❌ can be abit dirty (just clean urself w ur handy wet wipes)

❌ distracting

i studied here for my Olevels and honestly i found it okay since it usually opens till really late and u get to snack on cheap food!

Community Centre

✅ nobody will chase u out

✅ can eat and drink

❌ maybe no wifi

❌ maybe no plug

❌ might be crowded

studied here for my Olevels too but zzz no vibes! i think its still okay if ure studying w frens! some areas wont have aircon too!

Tampines Hub

✅ plug

✅ got food and drinks (its a mall duh)

❌ maybe no wifi

❌ may be distracting

rarely went here to study coz its pretty far from my place. really hard to find seats too

Wellcollective Cafe

✅ wifi

✅ cafe food and drinks

✅ pet friendly

✅ plug

✅ amazing ambiance

✅ almost nobody (very quiet)

❌ cannot leave the cafe for v long (if u wna go somewhere to eat coz they will chase u out)

❌ food is expensive

this is a study friendly cafe in Punggol AND I LOVE THIS PLACE SM but the food is quite pricey so idt i can come here v often.. but the ambience and wifi the plug everything is on point!
