HELP! BOY ADVICE ASAP! AITA ? 🫨

My friend texted out of the blue all angry, I got permission to ask this advice, since she doesn’t use lemon8. she mad, sad, and disappointed and idk how to really help and don’t think i’m in the state to tell her what she should do about the situation:

BACKSTORY: So basically her bf tells her that he’s going on a trip and she really didn’t think anything of it because lots of people take solo trips! But the reason he was going on this trip was to eat at a certain restaurant. It was strange to her but she knows how much he wanted to start traveling and was enthusiastic about food anyways. So she dusted it off. Then she finds out it’s a fancy restaurant and that he’s getting a haircut and buying new clothes because the dress attire… okay? So he finally gets there today and he landed safe and everything. Mind you she calls him everytime she gets tired to let him know that she’ll be sleep for the night and such. So she calls him and he declines really quickly. She said she called him a second time and this time he let it ring. She checks his location and it says he’s near a bar but she knows he doesn’t drink so she’s like okay???? So when he finally answers she facetimes him and he’s outside and says “yeah? i’m about to go to bed” she asks if she can see the room since they were talking about it earlier and he would say “why? i’m about to go to sleep” and she found that off because they’re at a point in there relationship that they are honest about things. so she found the interaction odd. then he said he was gonna call her back because his family was otp with him. but he never calls her back like promised. she calls him again and he’s outside. the call disconnects and she calls him again and he’s in the building lingering by the door saying “i’m about to go to bed can you hang up” and still refuses to show her the room so she says “you’re being really suspicious” and he gets mad and hangs up and texts her, “Really didn’t like where that conversation was going. Goodnight”
