My Experience at The Muji Hotel Ginza

It was an INCREDIBLE experience staying in Muji Hotel when I was in Tokyo in March and guess what! I am heading back to this very same hotel when I revisit Tokyo coming December!

The hotel might be smaller in scale as compared to other hotel establishments in Tokyo. And that being said, this would mean room bookings might be a headache as what I understand the rooms get snapped up pretty fast! The hack of securing rooms at Muji is to plan your Japan trip in advance! When I say “advance”, I really meant ADVANCE, as in 6 months early! The rooms at Muji are being release 6 months early, which means if you are planning a trip in Dec’23, the hotel allows you to book your accommodation as early as Jun/Jul’23.

The location of Muji hotel was amazing! Depending on where or whats my agenda for the day, it takes me less than 5 minutes to the high-end shopping district! Less than 10 minutes to arrive at the subway station (either the JR Yamanote or Metro line).

Prices of the hotel is reasonable, it was an average of S$160 per night per pax during non-peak seasons. However, room prices has increased for Dec to S$250 per night per pax as it was the holiday season. Nonetheless, I feel the prices (overall) is still pretty affordable, comparing with 5-star hotels around the district.

Definitely, an experience staying in the Muji Hotel & for anyone who is planning a trip to Tokyo, try it!
