question: what’s the longest you’re willing to wait for a bowl of noodles? 🤔
by the recommendation of 小红书, we visited “ooi noodle house” at SS15, subang.
a fairly large family ran shop selling just one item alone — pork noodles, or 猪肉粉, you can get them with kuey teow (rice noodles) or meesua (flour noodles). now if a store only sells one thing and one thing alone, AND has a 1 hour+ wait, you know it’s gonna be good. 😋
— here’s what i got:
🍜 pork noodles w/ kuay teow L – RM12
👅 taste: 5/5
💸 price point: 5/5
i can’t rave about this delicious bowl of warm goodness enough! the soup is on the saltier side but is super tasty. they are very generous with their ingredients, it’s a rather large portion of noodles as well so if you’re not a big eater, you could order a large portion and add extra ingredients for only RM2 and share it with someone! i love this so much, it’s definitely gonna be the first thing i get when i return to malaysia~
✨ ambience: 5/5
they have a separate indoor space with amble seating, i believe it with air conditioned as well (my memory is failing me 😂).
if you’re ever in the area, give it a try, you won’t regret it! just maybe go during off-peak hours 🫣
