BOOK ICK?! My OPINION!

This is really just my opinion so please if you read books with covers like these, keep doing so :). This is just personal preference!!

I have seen a lot of books with covers like these pop up in my favorite book store and they give me such a huge ick! Why? Because it sets an expectation for it being really cheesy and turns out, it is.

Even if it’s supposed to be a book made for adults, I think it’s even worse to put that kind of cover on it. Especially with some people who pick up books without reading about it before hand which I’ve read happens sometimes! And once in a while I do that (I like to play a little game of “what random freaking book am I getting now”).

Is this done with mostly romance books??
