Chrome nail inspo but add a little bit of spice! 💅🏼

I used to get my nails done once a month but ever since I moved to nyc back in 2019, I couldn’t find a nail salon that I absolutely loved (there are honestly so many it’s a little overwhelming). When the pandemic hit in 2020 and all of the nail salons (along with most everything else) closed, instead of baking banana bread and sourdough starters, I spent hours on YouTube and TikTok learning how to do my own nails.

When I ordered my first gel-x nail kit along with all of the supplies I needed, I knew I didn’t have to continue my search for my new go-to nail salon in nyc. There were definitely a lot of learning curves but with a ton of practice, I feel like I’ve finally gotten it down well.

Nail trends and inspo have gotten SO much better in the past few years — like people are so creative out here! I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many people obsessed with the ‘Hailey Bieber Chrome Nails’ trend (I was one of them). I feel like chrome in general has been having a really big moment so I wanted to show you guys 4 recent chrome looks I recently did on myself. Chrome with a little bit of spice!
