Sourdough Cafe in JB! 🍞

What we got:

1. Shakshuka w/ Sourdough Focaccia

💰 Price: RM22

- 8/10. dish was well seasoned and was tangy from the tomatoes. loved it alot

- wished the egg yolk was runny and jammy instead of it being fully cooked to drizzle on the focaccia

- focaccia came lightly toasted

- it only came with 3 pcs of sourdough focaccia and i wished it came with more slices coz of the generous portion of shakshuka served

2. Affogato (Cold) ☕️🍦

💰 Price: RM13

- decently priced and worth it imo

- the bitter espresso shot and sweet vanilla ice cream mellows each other out making it bitter sweet (duh..)

- i was today years old when i learnt that the proper way to enjoy an affogato is to eat the ice cream with abit of the espresso and then drinking the remaining espresso shot with the melted ice cream. 🤔

3. Espresso (Hot)

💰 Price: RM8

- just a shot of hot bitter espresso

- cute tea cup though...

4. Sourdough Toast w/ Cream Cheese 🍞🧀

💰 Price: RM10

- 8.5/10. really simple dish but really delicious. as an amateur sourdough enthusiast, i could easily scarf down one whole serving of sourdough toast

- served as 4pcs and it was served toasted. we chose cream cheese as out spread but you can choose other spreads to go with the bread of your choice.

- this dipped in the shakshuka is *chefs kiss* 👍🏻🤤

5. Matcha Latte (by Niko Neko) 🍵

💰 Price: RM15

- nothing to write home about. its just matcha dissolved in milk

- wouldve liked for it to be sweet, but maybe its not meant to be sweet? idk i like my matcha lattes sweet

- good for yall no sugar girlies but bad for yall lactose intolerant girlies 🤷🏻‍♂️

in summary, the sourdough options here are really decent and worth the price. they also serve bagels, french toast and buttered sourdough toast which is apparently softer than normal sourdough toast

they also serve breakfast dishes and other mains which are worth trying. id definitely come back again to try their other mains so its a W for me 👑

PS, the entrance might look abit sketchy from the outside but its actually really pretty once u go down the stairs to their cafe. theres also a lot of instagram-able spots inside and outside of the cafe for all you ig girlies 💅🏻💁🏻‍♀️
