A little Bible update 🫶🏻

So a few days ago I started reading the Bible and had no idea where to start. Thankfully some friendly folk on here helped me with that! The Bible I currently have is a NKJV and I was having the HARDEST time understanding what was written. Someone had recommended that I read the NLT, so I downloaded a holy bible app and changed it to NLT and oh my goodness it was SO much easier to understand lol. Not to mention, it has audio so you can listen! I personally listen and follow along as they read.

I have read so far the Gospel of John & Mark. Those two books have already taught me so much! Jesus was so patient with people he encountered. He would literally show them miracles like making a blind man see or bringing Lazarus back to life and someone would be like “but are you really the Son of God though???” I would’ve lost my patience lol. But Jesus knew all of this would happen, even saying “If the world hates you, just remember it hated me first.”

Anyway, this was all to say thank you to everyone that gave me direction to better read and understand the Bible! It’s actually more fun to read than I thought.
