TAIWAN NIGHT MARKETS PT.1 NINGXIA

hey guys, whenever i go taiwan i make it a point to go to at least ONE NIGHT MKT EVERYNIGHT!!

so i’ll be reviewing them and telling you what you shld get or shldnt!

🌙Ningxia night market

famous for:

🍠 michelin Taro and salted egg yolk ball

🥵 Mochi on ice

🍳 oyster omelette

what i got:

1. sweet potato balls 10/10

they were freshly fried and super QQ i chose the plum flavour which gave it a salty kick

2. mochi on ice

for this stall i opted to dine in (usually must queue) and you get to choose black sesame or peanut mochi on ice. THIS WAS SO GOOD. the hot mochi was fresh, and paired with the cold ice, just perfection. it’s something i def recommend

3. cheesy potato

This was a baked potato slathered in cheese. overall, the soft and warm potato paired well w the cheese and bacon bits!!

i went on a weekend so the queue for the famous taro and salted egg yolk ball and oyster omelette was SUPER LONG, wld recommend gg there on a weekday instead as it got super squeezy and uncomfortable at some pt.

I think this is a more “touristy” night market and it’s pretty small though there’s quite a lot of food offerings, wld rec gg on a less crowded day to avoid the crowd
