My Cancer Diagnosis.

On 7/22/24 I went in for a procedure for a random physical, then on 7/24/24 I received a call from my doctor who told me they found cancer asked me to return for another procedure on 7/31/24. My doctor told me I needed to see oncology for a follow-up even though the surgeon removed the cancer on 7/31/24. I have never been so scared until the moment the oncology department called to set up my appointment, and then I became scared my heart started pounding. I became nervous and felt like I couldn't breathe. should I be scared and nervous, or should I be more relaxed? I've been told to stop being dramatic by my sister, who always cries about her medical stuff, which is a lot of stuff and always says hers is worse than this! am I overreacting, or is she being rude? why do I feel so terrible? I can't seem to shut my brain down. I can't sleep. I can't relax. I feel like I've been kicked in the gut.
