Ingredients:

• 4 ounces (113 grams) semisweet chocolate, chopped

• 1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter

• 1 cup (200 grams) granulated sugar

• 2 large eggs

• 2 large egg yolks

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 1/4 cup (31 grams) all-purpose flour

• Pinch of salt

• Powdered sugar and fresh berries for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease and lightly flour four 6-ounce ramekins or oven-safe cups.

2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate and butter together in short intervals, stirring until smooth. Be careful not to overheat.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract until well combined.

4. Gradually pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, whisking constantly until smooth.

5. Add the flour and salt, and gently fold until just combined. Don’t overmix.

6. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins. Place them on a baking sheet for easy handling.

7. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are set, but the centers are still soft and slightly jiggly.

8. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Then, run a knife around the edges and carefully invert each cake onto a serving plate.

9. Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh berries if desired. Serve immediately while the center is still gooey.
