🥬Bahan-bahan:

▫️Tempoyak agak-agak 2 cawan

▫️Ikan bilis segenggam 

▫️Minyak masak secukupnya untuk tumis ikan bilis

▫️Gula pasir (tak mahu pun tak apa, boleh tambah ikut selera masing-masing jika tak mahu rasa masam sangat. Mula dengan 1 sudu teh dulu, jangan tambah banyak-banyak sekaligus, kita bukan buat dodol 🤣)

🥬 Ingredients:

▫️About 2 cups of tempoyak

▫️A handful of anchovies

▫️Enough cooking oil to stir fry the anchovies

▫️White sugar (optional. You can add sugar if you want to reduce the sourness. Start with a teaspoon and adjust accordingly. Don't add too much, we're not making dodol 🤣)

✍️ Langkah-langkah:

1. Panaskan minyak dalam kuali/periuk dan tumiskan ikan bilis.

2. Tambah tempoyak.

3. Goreng tempoyak dengan ikan bilis sampai tempoyak nampak lut sinar. Itu sahaja. Sudah boleh makan!

4. Kalau nak tambah gula pasir, tambah pada langkah terakhir. Tambah gula pasir dan goreng sehingga gula larut dan warna jadi keperangan.

✍️ Steps:

1. Heat the cooking oil and fry the anchovies.

2. Add tempoyak.

3. Fry them until the tempoyak's colour is translucent. Done!

4. If you want to add sugar, add in the last step. Make sure you don't burn the sugar. Keep frying until you see the sugar melted and caramelized. 

Senangkan? Tak payah susah-susah nak cincang atau hiris bawang. Sukatan pun agak-agak ikut selera, tak perlu ikut betul-betul pun. Asalkan ada minyak masak, tempoyak, dan ikan bilis. Tambah gula dan/atau cili pun boleh.

Very easy right? No onions needed. You don't even need to follow the measurements of the ingredients to the tee. Just adjust accordingly to your taste. The main ingredients are tempoyak, cooking oil, and anchovies. Add sugar and/or chili if you want 😉
