FUN THINGS TO DO: HUDSON VALLEY

This area of New York is SO peaceful. A great getaway from the hustle and bustle of New York City with tons of wholesome things to do!

Here are a few things we did during our time there that can hopefully give you some upstate NY inspo!

1 - Visit an animal sanctuary! It's a great time to explore the world and others around us - including animals. We visited the Catskills Sanctuary during our time here and got a guided tour by the staff. The rescue animals are so friendly and free to roam, making this place a haven for them that we can see and appreciate.

2 - Take some hikes! There's tons of great trails that range from easy to difficult, the ones listed in my slide above (Ashokan Rail Trail being my fave) are the ones we took during our time there.

3 - Have lunch in Woodstock! We loved the Garden Cafe for a good vegan option. The place has indoor and outdoor seating with a wide variety of options for meals. I highly recommend ANY of their burger options (black bean or impossible) with some yummy potato fries on the side.
