Did you know that you can order a McDonald’s Parties at Home Party Pack instead of going to their outlets? If you are holding a small party, this is quite a neat idea.

There are 3 main options, for 6, 8 or 10 pax. You can either opt for their sets with a standard set of meals or just order the party gift box and add on your own choices of meals.

For me, I ordered the party gift box for 8 pax and ordered my own meals separately (cos all the kids had different requests and none of the standard sets fit the bill.).

The Party Gift Box B is for 8 pax ($68) and includes:

• 1 “Happy Birthday” bunting

• 8 party hats

• 8 sets of card game

• 1 party toss game

Review:

[Cost]

The cost is around $8.50 per pax. Do note that this price DOES NOT include the food. I guess with the card game, the price is alright if you want a McDonald’s themed party.

[Decoration]

The bunting is HUGE. Even my full wall notice board could not fit the whole bunting. (See cover photo.)

The 10 year olds did not want to wear the party crowns. I think it will be more attractive to the preschoolers.

I’ve not played the card game yet but looking through the instructions, the game play is pretty straightforward.

Although the party toss game was smaller than my expectations, on the bright side, it is easier to keep and can be reused for future parties. (See 3rd photo and the chilli packet for size.)

[Ordering]

There is no need to pre-order but I would advise to order at least 1 hour earlier before the party starts. Today is a Monday, I ordered at 12.37pm and the food came at around 1.30pm. I nearly had a mini heart attack as the guests are coming at around 1.35pm. If your party is during the weekend, I suggest that you do an advance order instead. You can only order via the app and the option will only appear after the breakfast hours and only on the McDelivery page. There is no option for pick-up at the store.

Would I order the party gift box again?

Nah…once is enough.
