Just back from my trip in Portugal and I’ve genuinely been loving Lisbon 💌 It is also relatively cheaper compared to other European cities. I would say its even cheaper than Singapore in terms of food and transport too. You can easily get a latte here in a cafe for 2.5 euro and a 30mins ride from airport to your accomodation is around 10 euro.

Took it relatively chill here in Lisbon, just walking around and enjoying the nice weather. This was how my itinerary was and I hope it can help you!

Day 1:

- Breakfast/brunch at dear breakfast (Chiado branch)

Food was really good and this was the cutest spot. Request for the seats by the window if possible and watch the iconic trams go past from the window. Total of 2 mains, 1 coffee and 1 extra croissant came up to be 25 euros total

- Head over to Praca do Comercio which is one of the largest harbour in Portugal. From there you can also see the Rua Augusta Arch.

- Go shopping at Rua Carmo (H&M, Zara, Footlocker etc)

- Tea break at Landeau Chocolate for one of the best chocolate cake

This chocolate cake was so so good! It was indulgent, rich yet light all at the same time. It does not leave you feeling jelly.

- Elevador da Bica

Photogenic spot with iconic view of the tram and its steep route

- Explore Bairro Alto

Sits on top of a hip and known to have many restaurants and bars around this area.

- Pink street

Used to be the red light district of Lisbon. Not gonna lie this was overhyped, but I guess if you’re passing by the area you can stop by. Street was dirty and all in all just nothing special.

- Head to Miradouro Da Senhora do Monte for sunset

- Asian Kitchen for dinner

Day 2:

- Breakfast at Break Se

Cute cafe but food was mediocre. Do visit other food places if you have others in mind.

- Stroll along Alfama.

My favourite area in Lisbon!! Many cute streets with cobbled streets and traditional houses. I love exploring around and just getting lost in that area. Lots of opportunity for photo spots

- Take tram 28 if you have time (I did not, but heard to be careful on the tram in general for pickpockets)

- Uber to Tower Belem

- Jeronimos Monastery (Book your tickets in advance to avoid long queues)

- Pasteis de Belem for the best Portuguese egg tarts!!

- Lunch at Time out market

Love the croquettes and gelato!

- Explore LX factory

Many cute and trendy/hipster cafes and shops. Visit this cool bookstore if you’re there too.

- Santa Luiza and MIradouro das Portas do Sol

Imo the best view of Lisbon with sunset but it will definitely be crowded, do be there early if you want to have a good view of the sunset!
