Home workouts have been my daily, weekly, yearly exercise routine for the past 4 years. I love the feeling of how my body feels when it’s stronger. Of course, some days are harder than others but I always keep this phrase in mind, “you will never regret exercising”. Not a fitness junkie or someone with tone body and abs but I do this genuinely cause I enjoy it, it helps with stress and a good hobby to have! All you need is some water and a workout mat (+booty band if you have) and you’re good to go! 💦

These are 2 of my favourite YouTube accounts that I have been rotating throughout these years. They usually have non repeat movement in each video which I really appreciate! Have included some of my favourite workouts from their channel above.

1. Pamela Reif

Everyone knows Pamela Reif for her killer workouts and abs. Trust me, they are so effective. I saw the most muscle gain when I was following her workout consistently during covid and was actively doing 30-45mins 4 to 5 times a week. Sadly, the past year I have not been as consistent with working out and am not as fit anymore. Her workouts are short (usually 10mins to 15mins), but really effective and you’ll be sweating buckets. It’s totally okay to give yourself a break especially if you’re just starting out. It takes time for me to be able to follow her workout completely after I’ve stopped exercising for a long while. I usually do her abs, booty and cardio workouts and switch them up during the week.

2. Growingananas

I chanced upon her account 2 years ago and am never going back. When she says on her video that it is “High intensity”, she really mean it. Her workouts are usually in longer duration (20-40 minutes), but it is really so effective. I love her cardio workouts because it really makes you feel like you went for a HIIT class in a studio. I usually opt for the 20-30 mins super sweaty workout. She likes to incorporate killer burpees in her videos that kills you but I promise you feel so good after.
