5 things to do in Paris for free ✨

1. Catch the Eiffel Tower sparkle

Personally, seeing the Eiffel Tower for the first time did not wow me at all, especially during the day. It is much prettier at night and especially when it sparkles, that is when it is magical. The Eiffel Tower every hour for 5 minutes from nightfall till 11pm. Be sure to plan your time and be at the right location when this happens!

2. Rooftop at Galaeries Lafayette

Enjoy a paranomic view of Paris over at this rooftop on the 8th floor. From there, you are able to see iconic monuments of Paris from the Eiffel Tower, to the Palais garner, Sacré-Coeur and many more. Ive been wanting to visit this place but still have not gotten the chance to as the queues were really long and I did not factor the time for it. Be sure to factor some time for this if you’d like to see it, I’ve heard its worth it (especially at sunset).

3. Stroll along the Seine River

Take a stroll along the Seine rive with picturesque view of Paris. I think the best way to explore a city is by foot. Along the seine river you can see many tourists and Parisians enjoying themselves sitting by the river painting, reading having a picnic, jogging by the water.

4. Picnic at Jardin du Luxembourg garden/read a book

If the weather is good, head to Luxembourg garden by the fountain with snacks or to read a book! Stop by the Palais du Luxembourg for some pictures and wander around. There are chairs that you can find everywhere, you can see people strolling, reading, having a picnic or and just relaxing in the sun. One of my favourite places in Paris

5. Free museum visits

There are some particular dates in Paris that has free access to some popular museums such as Musée de l'Orangerie, Musée d'Orsay and even the Louvre museum.
