Organising a DIY sushi party with your friends 🫶🏼

Saw a Tiktok by theroycelee on tiktok organising a DIY sushi party with friends and it looked so good we had to try! It was so fun and something a little different to spice up dinner nights with your friends/family.

We bought most of our ingredients and sashimi from Dondondonki and 1 sashimi platter + 2 salmon sashimi from Fish Mart Sakuraya We also got some frozen fries to airfry and dip into Mentaiko sauce from NTUC as well as Japanese cucumbers and Sencha Green tea 🍣🥒🍚🍵

List of ingredients we got from DDDK:

- 2 Salmon Sashimi

- Unagi Sushi

- Tako

- Tobiko

- Lobster Salad

- Seaweed

- Japanese Rice

- Mentaiko Sauce

- Wasabi

- Soy Sauce

- Crab Sticks

- Hotate

- Yakitori

My friend had flame torch and also prepared our Japanese rice for us. We (or rather he) tried making our version Aburi Salmon Mentai and it was actually really quite good! DDDK has enough selection which are sufficient are fresh, but we wanted something even more so we got the extra sashimi from Fish Mart Sakuraya and it was really delicious! I’ll link it here, they do delivery for orders $80 and above and a flat rate of $10 delivery fee during the weekend, highly recommend. Discovered our new love for swordfish sashimi :)
