How I’m saving $$$ - Part 2

Look, I ✨KNOW✨ this is gonna come off very “if you don’t order avocado toast everyday..” but HEAR ME OUT!

The wealthy stay wealthy but making their money work for them.

The rich never stay rich because it’s solely about the money and not about the long-terms or investments.

So here is how I like to live in “luxury” when I’m on a budget and working on fixing my financials 💖

🥡 I take my food to work!

Listen, I’m a sucker for Panera (especially bc their sip club gives me a free drink + delivery to my job) but that’s also $8-20 a shift depending on how long the shift is and how hungry I am.

What I like to do is pretend to order and see how much that cost is after tip and tax. Then, I like to either upload that exact amount into my app wallet or place it in my account that I use for food and then use it to pay when I want Panera again, or simply didn’t have leftovers already made to pack. Then, I calculate it all and determine how to and/or if I can budget it into the next paycheck for the following month so I’m more prepared.

📞 Switching Phone Carriers

I’m still on the fence about Mint… more so because my phone still switches my contacts back to PR (primary) when they really need to be PE (personal) in order to go through… and I can call android phones, I just can’t text them (I hear that’s an Apple thing but what a coincidence that when I unlocked it to switch from T-mobile, it started doing that…)

I do sometimes miss the T-Mobile Tuesdays app but I never used it enough to warrant paying almost $95 a month in all honesty. Maybe Mint isn’t for you though… maybe you wanna switch to someone else and that’s ok! But as long as the service is good for you, and the price is what you’re looking for!
