How to make Friends in College 👯‍♀️🏛️

College is a second chance at being you! Use it to your full ability and make some lifelong friends. It can be tough to find them sometimes but these are three fool proof ways that will inevitably make you a friend or five :)

1. Go to events- I personally met some of my best friends at welcome week and sporting events like bingo and basketball. These events usually seem pretty cheesy but they’re a great way to break the ice.

2. Join clubs- visit your local club fair to see what your school has to offer. Sororities and clubs will guarantee you to make friends with like interests. You can join a sorority, an intramural sport, an academic club, or a hobby driven club. All of these will force you to mingle with others and repeatedly see them.

3. Go to class- this is the most simple yet overlooked step to making friends in college. I feel that on the first day of classes it is crucial to sit next to people who appear to have a similar vibe as yourself. Make sure to introduce yourself and ask for help to break the ice.
