Some treasures I found outside today :)

I got so blessed by Mother Nature today with all these cool finds 💚

first a found this lil cute baby pinecone, I don’t usually see them in their entirely like that so I just had to take it. I might plant it in the spring or just keep it in my house for good luck. I guess I’ll see.

Then I found a part of a scrub jay wing, I was so hyped I’ve never found anything like it. Granted, I’ve found bones, dead animals, and feathers, but never a piece of wing like that AND with the bones! Pretty damn neat if you tell me. I think it almost looks like an angel wing too. I will try to honor the birds spirit as best I can and make something out of its wing. I think it’d make for pretty cool decoration or even just an altar piece.

I also noticed that some rosemary bushes were blooming and I wanted to gather some sprigs. The flowers are so fricken cute and I love the color. These were also the late bloomers and probably the last flowers until springtime.

Then I hit this little coyote tobacco patch I visit sometimes but most of the plants were dried out so I just collected some seeds. I hope to plant them this spring and harvest the leaves to smoke. I still don’t know too much about coyote tobacco specifically but tobacco is a real powerful plant ally. I plan to use it 100% for my spiritual craft (I don’t usually smoke tobacco or nicotine recreationally).

Before I gather/collect anything I like to offer something back to the earth. I usually pick up any litter I see, give water, or if I don’t have anything (or if there’s no trash) I give some of my dna by either spitting on the soil or brushing out my hair to give some loose strands (which might sound hella weird to some but oh well).

Overall I’m pretty hyped over all my finds, I definitely feel like they’re gifts from the earth or my guides or both.
