THE BEST PLACE TO CATCH THE SUNSET 🤩

As a sunset lover, one of the highlights of my trip is visiting Gaomei Wetlands in Taichung! It is known to be the best spot to catch the beautiful sunset with no blocked views and experience the wetland 🌅

The place is quite far out so I would recommend taking a taxi there directly! We booked a driver for half a day, driving us to Miyahara and a round trip to Gaomei Wetlands for about $100 which is quite reasonable for 4 pax considering the distance 🙂

Tip: do get there before 5pm (depending on the season) so that you can stroll along the bridge and get the full experience of watching the sun sets 🥹 but be prepared that it can get really crowded since it’s well-known by both locals and tourists!

And since it’s at the coast, the wind is veryyy strong because of the sea breeze and it can be crazily cold especially during the winter period! So bring an extra outerwear 🤧

I was slightly underdressed but totally no regrets for the gorgeous sunset view!!! 🥰 definitely worth a visit! 🌟
