How I took my bio notes from this…

#1 I stopped trying to fit everything on one page and instead focused on how I’d fit related topics together.

#2 although my handwriting could be a lot better, I take more time to write neatly. This makes notes look less scrambled.

#3 for the love- please use a good pen 🙏

#4 I’m a visual learner so adding visuals to my notes is a must

#5 heading at the top in big letters, bold main topic (and number with your learning objectives if needed), use a finer point pen for writing answers and definitions, highlight main points and formulas to remember for quizzes.

#6 take extra time finding good examples and extended response questions that could be on your test or quiz. Easy points for yapping 😄
