I made TANG YUAN WAFFLE & it blew my mind 🧇🤯

Welcome to my waffle obsession!

I recently got my hands on a waffle pan (still somewhat in disbelief that an online friend gave it to me 🥺) & the first thing I tried waffle-ing was RED BEAN TANG YUAN.

Yes, the frozen ones!!

No thawing & oil required. I couldn't decide on whether to oil the pan initially but ended up not oiling it. It turned out just fine bc the pan is non-stick 😊

The tang yuan waffle was rly amazing I swear. Crispy on the outside & mochi-like on the inside 🤤

I've since tried waffle-ing:

🥜 Peanut tang yuan: Doesn't work as well bc the peanut filling will fall out when you close the pan shut. The result is a relatively tasteless waffle.

🥐 Frozen mini croissants: Of course I had to make croffles & these were delish too. Never gonna spend money buying croffles outside again hehe.

🥑 Hass avocado: Lol this tasted like CHICKEN BREAST 🐔. I had it with furikake & it was OK but I wouldn't do it again. There are much better ways to eat avos!

It's the same one that @/lennardy is using (he's a popular food influencer & I'm pretty stoked to have the same pan as him hehe).
