I found THE facial for sensitive skin girlies! 🙌🏼

As someone with problematic skin, I’m always a bit hesitant about facials. 

For context, I use a combination of dermatologist prescribed products + skincare with no fragrance on a daily basis 🥺

I decided to give Resplandor’s Flora Soothing facial (90 mins treatment for sensitive, irritated skin) a try & will be sharing the process + my objective review below! ⬇️

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦:

▪️ Double cleanse

▪️ Enzyme peel for exfoliation

▪️ Steam ~7 mins

▪️ Extraction

▪️ Double masking: 2nd mask was a soft peel off mask

▪️ Serum (using a cooling applicator)

▪️ Moisturizer

▪️ Short head massage

▪️ Tea served after facial

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜 𝗘𝗡𝗝𝗢𝗬𝗘𝗗:

✨ My therapist, Kila, was thorough and not in a rush. Not like some other facials I’ve been to—the kind where the person’s hands move DAMN FAST and you can just FEEL her urgency

✨ Literally ZERO hard sell. You can read about Resplandor’s no hard sell policy HERE 👏🏻👏🏻 

✨ My sensi skin didn’t give me any issues post-facial! 🙌🏼

✨ Thorough extraction—some therapists just skim through y’know what I mean? 😤

✨ Green tea + tea tree oil was applied post-extraction. I think that’s not very common for facials?

✨ Cooling applicator during serum application felt amazing on my skin

✨ The peel off mask was luxuriously heavy & sleep inducing lol

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜’𝗗 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗗:

🔸 Better noise reduction & maybe a false ceiling to conceal pipes on the ceiling for a better ambience? 😝 But ok those weren’t big issues for me.

🔸 A shoulder massage. Haha is that too much to ask for?? I’ve had some facials that include this when you wait for the product to get absorbed into your face 🙈

🔸 More outlets! Resplandor currently has one outlet in the West (near Jurong East interchange). They're located at the same floor as Spatial, which I know a lot of students on lemon8 love to frequent for studying!

But regardless, it was still a good experience and I'm happy to have discovered a facial treatment tailored for sensitive skin.
