I am someone who struggles with anxiety. I have struggled with anxiety since I was a child and my mom would always tell me, “Don’t worry. Just say a prayer to God to help ease your worry.” As a child, I would comply and pray pray pray until I didn’t feel worried anymore. As an adult, I have found it more difficult to take a deep breath and continue to pray to God when I am feeling anxious. This verse reminds me to put EVERYTHING in God, because God provides us with everything. When you think about the Lord, remember that he can carry all your worry and bring you peace, even when you feel like you have nowhere to turn. Allow him to fill you with hope and joy and peace.
