𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝:

1️⃣ Chin Mee Chin

Probably the most instagrammable kopitiam with its baby blue exterior and vintage vibes (since 1925). Although they only have one kaya toast option on the menu, there are lots of other breads and pastries to choose from.

2️⃣ 328 Katong Laksa

I don't eat spicy stuff, but my tourist friend bookmarked this as many celebrities including Gordon Ramsay, Tony Leung Chiu-Wai and Ekin Cheng have visited this Michelin Bib Gourmand branch before.

𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐬:

1️⃣ Crane Living (Joo Chiat)

Connected to Cafe Natsu, all the bowls and cutlery they sell on the first floor are artistic with quirky yet functional designs, making me want to bring them all home.

2️⃣ SOJAO

I wanted to buy everything from this cosy home goods store, especially the Reminds Me Of candle collection that are inspired by Singaporean places!

3️⃣ OASIS: Provision Shop

Right opposite Sojao, we didn’t enter this clean beauty shop as we thought it was closed, but after checking out their IG, it feels like a local version of LUSH(?) I think I need to pay another visit to check out their sustainable products!

4️⃣ Cat Socrates

The 'Do not let the cat out' sign caught our eye, so we had to stop by this bookstore selling all sorts of cutesy lifestyle products. Sure enough the cat was trying to escape every chance it got, which was pretty amusing.

5️⃣ Aurel SG – Perfume Experience Centre & Online Store Singapore

We booked a free 45-minute slot for self-guided perfume testing, where we got to try over 200 scents inspired by iconic brands. I loved that we got the whole place to ourselves, and I even found an alternative to my fave Byredo Blanche scent for just SGD25 (Careso Clean EDT).

Don't forget to check out the pretty pastel Peranakan houses on Koon Seng Road and keep an eye out for all the stunning wall murals along the way too! I'm sure there's still much more to discover, so let me know if you have any other recos~
