🍴the best meal I've had in 2022 🤯😩

If you're looking for a great way to close your year #WithYourBesties , I'd suggest going to Le Bon Funk at Club Street! It's honestly a swanky place, and with pretty high prices - but ALL worth every single dime you spend here. The menu rotates, so it's a surprise every time, but they're ALWAYS good surprises 😩 here's what I had:

🧀 Burrata with Gremolata ($36) and Sourdough ($6): not gonna lie, this burrata was probably the best I've had in my entire life. The lemon, parsley and garlic gremolata was so refreshing when paired with the milky cheese!! The sourdough was also delicious and had a nice funk to it, with great chewy soft texture inside - 5/5

🥩 Wagyu Tartare ($39): also the BEST tartare ever - not sure what was inside but I loved every bit of this, had a touch of umami too. They served it with chips and a bit of hot sauce! So silky and flavourful - just tasted super fresh! - 5/5

🍖 Suckling Pork Belly with Peach ($24): SO tender and so juicy! Usually pork is paired with apples but the peach was deliciously sweet and added a delicate flavour to the fatty pork - 4/5

🥪 Beef Tongue & Gribiche Sandiwch ($26): I'm like a massive hater of beef tongue because of the gamey taste and weirdly chewy texture but NONE of that was present in this sandwich. The eggy creamy gribiche was also super flavourful and herbacious, giving this sandwich a lift in flavour! - 5/5

🥬 Aubergine Agnolotti ($42): Perhaps this was the last dish so I wasn't really wowed by this, but the Kale on this was charred to perfection, and the saltiness of the butter and olive sauce was so so good!! - 3.5/5

I went with two of my besties and has such a great time! This was definitely a top restaurant visit this year!! However, it's notoriously difficult to get a booking so book in advance!
