Retrenched, again..

As the title said, yes i was informed that i am being retrenched again but this time round, my company is retrenching the whole Singapore office and majority of the APAC region as well. Drastic move. As i am just a contractor, i didn’t get any package, just that they allowed me to work until my contract ends which is less than 3 months’ time. Called up 3 job consultants and all said the same that companies are either retrenching or restructuring so asked me to wait and be patience. Seriously i am panicking as the market is really bad and i dont know how long i will be jobless. Many are anticipating recession might happen soon. I had accepted this harsh fact, just that I am not sure what lies ahead for me. Seems like my future is a bleak now. Hope i can at least land a short term contract role before this contract ends. 🙏🏻
