Save this bucket list for your next trip to Glacier:

🚲 Ride Going to the Sun Road

• Rent a bike before the road is open to vehicles in Late May or early June

• Make reservations on recreation.gov to drive the road when it opens in June or July! You can get them 48 hours in advance

🥾 Hike to a Glacial Lake! My faves below

• Grinnell Lake- 7 miles, 750 feet

• Cracker Lake- 12.8 miles, 1200 feet

• Iceberg Lake - 9.6 miles, 1400 feet

• Avalanche Lake- 6 miles, 750 feet

• Hidden Lake- 5 miles, 1300 feet

🛶 Paddle Lake McDonald

• You can rent a boat or bring your own to paddle there!

• if you bring your own, you need to have life jackets and get it inspected

⛺️ Camp in the park at one of the great campgrounds

• St Mary’s, Rising Sun, Two Medicine, and Many Glacier on the East Side

• Apgar, Fish Creek, Sprague Creek, and Avalanche Creek on the West side

💦Chase Waterfalls

• There are plenty of waterfalls in the park, in Speing & early summer they’re gushing

• Hike to St Mary Falls & Virginia Falls - 3 miles round trip

• Baring Falls (.6 miles)

• Florence Falls (9.5 miles)

• Redrock Falls (3.5 miles)

• Running Eagle Falls (.6 miles)

• All the falls on Going to the Sun road!

👙 Jump in for a swim!

• The lakes in Glacier are cold, but if you need to cool off they’re great for a plunge

• Lake McDonald is the most accessible
