Christian Birth Affirmations

This is going to sound crazy, but I actually never even heard of birth affirmations until this pregnancy and I really wish I had had these under my belt with my last two pregnancies! However, I am fully prepared to use these during my first homebirth, and I have actually already been practicing these to myself as I am almost 32 weeks pregnant and getting closer and closer to giving birth!

Giving birth for me has always been an extremely empowering experience and I truly can’t wait to experience it on my own terms in my own home, Lord willing.

Having a positive mindset is one of the most powerful things that you could have in life.

Far beyond homebirth, positive affirmations have been proven to make someone’s life better give them a better position at work, give them more confidence and helping them live longer and more happily and fulfilled.

If simply saying positive affirmations to yourself can help throughout your entire life, it can definitely help you through an experience as intense as bearing a child.

I plan on printing these out so that in the heat of the moment I can either repeat that myself or have my husband or sister repeat them out loud to me as needed .

On top of having these birth affirmations, I also plan on having a worship music playlist ready to go in case I feel like singing or swaying during birth as some women also find that extremely helpful. If you’ve had a home birth, what was your experience? What helped you the most?
