Cutting Costs During The Holidays

One thing about a recession is that it will teach you how to start cutting costs like you never have before!

Especially if you are family living off of one income!

In this economy I’m seeing so many creative ways that people are cutting down on cost, and I wanted to share my own!

This photo shoot was actually from a few years ago before the economy started tanking the way it has and this was just simply two broke freshly in their 20s parents who wanted to get some nice photos without spending any money.

At the time I was a SAHM about to be a mom of 2 under 2 and even $150 for a mini session was completely out of reach & out of our budget. We were getting our next crib off of Facebook marketplace for free… if that tells you anything.

Since this photo shoot, I invested in a much nicer camera and became a professional photographer, which has also helped us greatly just by taking our own photos. But I wanted to share some photos with a non-fancy camera, and zero professional editing. ..

Just a little family that went to the mall with a $200 camera and took some photos with the flash on an edited it with a free phone app.
