Why I’m not buying brand new gifts 🎁 This Year

With Christmas coming up, and black Friday right around the corner, you’d think I’d be writing out a long amazon wishlist, right?

Wrong!

I’m not buying my kids brand new toys this year.

At least; none that I’m planning on.

I have two boys, 4 & 2 and another on the way. And there are a few things they love… cars, trucks, and books. All of which I’m able to pick up for just a fraction of the cost at my local thrift store!

On top of the thrift store being much more budget friendly you’re also supporting your favorite charities and small businesses, while also helping the environment!

Thrifting has definitely risen in popularity over the past 10 years and along with that prices has also gone up, but one of my favorite hacks is making sure you go to thrift stores when they have sales or checking to see what color tags are on sale! I went Thrifting today and every single color except for green was half off, so I ended up saving over $100 just from that alone!
