Becoming a Teen Mom Ruined my Life

Becoming a teen mom ruined my life, just like everyone warned me it would.

But what they didn’t warn me is that my new life would be better.

They didn’t warn me that becoming more selfless and caring would make me like myself more, not less.

That motherhood would build new strength and confidence in myself and my abilities despite others’ opinions of me.

That being a teen mom doesn’t make me a bad one. That being a teen mom can be empowering.

That being young parents can grow a couple closer together & build the love and friendship they had before children even stronger than ever before.

So yes. Being a teen mom ruined my life.

It ruined the toxic friendships I had, destroyed the eating di$order I had, and my lack of confidence and hatred of myself.

Psalm 127:3-5
